Hoboken Travels: The Jersey Shore {Photo Exposé}

Recently visited Manasquan this past weekend, and I was shocked at how beautiful and “back to normal” the shore was…packed with inhabitants enjoying themselves in the sunshine. So that got me digging around {since often it’s hard to escape the Hoboken bubble}…are all shore towns this lucky to be back on their feet?

Here are a few reader-sent IG photos to see how the shore is currently doing:

So. As you can see — lots of people are returning to the shore and doing the normal DTS stuff, which is amazing. However, there are still many towns in need.

These photos were taken this past weekend…meaning the destruction and damage of Sandy is still very real. As Hoboken residents, we know how awful the destruction of Sandy was, and still is, for some of us. The Jersey Shore is strong — but needs your support. Take a weekend or day trip there and give back a little bit – stimulate the economy, help a family/home in need, or just make others aware that help is still needed. #jerseystrong
